# Windsurf

> Connect Windsurf (Cascade) to the Metatron docs-search MCP through mcp_config.json.

**Syntax verified** against the Windsurf Cascade MCP documentation (`docs.windsurf.com/windsurf/cascade/mcp`, retrieved 2026-10-10). **End-to-end connection: NOT TESTED** against the live site.

Remote HTTP servers use a `serverUrl` field in `mcp_config.json`, which Cascade reads from its MCP settings.

## Verify

Open Cascade's MCP settings and confirm `metatron-docs` is enabled. Then ask Cascade a question this documentation answers.

## Troubleshooting

* **Server not enabled:** use the toggle next to the server in Cascade's MCP settings.
* **Connection fails:** confirm the live domain and the `/mcp` path.

## Remove

Delete the `metatron-docs` entry from `mcp_config.json`.
