# Versioning

> How these docs stay accurate as clients and the docs-search MCP change.

## What this site versions

This site documents the docs-search MCP and client setup syntax. It does not version a Metatron tool API, because no Metatron tool is publicly documented yet.

## How accuracy is kept

* Each client guide states the date its syntax was checked against that client's official documentation.
* A guide without a verified date is not accurate for your client. Check the official documentation before you rely on it.
* When a client changes its format, the guide is updated and its verification date changes with it.

## Documentation versions

Metatron can publish multi-version sites. This site is single-version. If a second version is ever needed, add it in `docs.json` and document which version each change applies to.
